40 Hour Defensive Tactics
Instructor Development Course

THIS COURSE IS FOR YOUR DEPARTMENT, IF A NEW OFFICER HAS BEEN ASSIGNED OR IS GOING TO BE ASSIGNED AS A TRAINING OFFICER
OR DEFENSIVE TACTICS INSTRUCTOR

SYNOPSIS:
    This Missouri POST approved course is just what he/she needs to be able to perform the tasks associated with that position.  This course is not limited to one system of control.  Rather the officer will be exposed to just about every type of control being used today in law enforcement.  The officer can specialize in a particular control system after taking the course, because he/she will then have a broad background to make that decision.  The more knowledge an officer has about the various training courses being taught today, the better that person can be effective in developing a course of training which will fit the specific needs of their department.

    The officer completing this course will receive four (4) certificates.
